Job summary

The Singapore campus of James Cook University is seeking an Executive Student Ambassador to support students through their transition and create a seamless study experience. You will serve as the primary contact for a cohort, coordinating with multiple departments and handling student-related administrative tasks.

We value teamwork, adaptability and strong customer service experience, with a background in sales or student services.

Qualifications

• A basic degree or diploma with at least two (2) years sales and customer services related working experience.
• Good organisational, problem solving and administrative skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy/eye for details.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and work productively as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible, responsive and work in a changing environment and maintain a positive and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• To guide and assist a group of students and be the designated point of contact for them in all aspects of their studies and other related areas in JCU Singapore both administrative and non-administrative matters.
• Work closely with departments that have an impact on the students life during his/her course of studies which include Finance & Purchasing, Learning Centre, Admissions, Academic Services & Progressions, Student Recruitment, Estate Management, Information, Communication & Technology and Attendance Monitoring.
• Ensure short turnaround time on required coordination for seamless delivery.
• Liaise with external agencies as relevant.
• Receive and process student payments.
