Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) seeks an Executive Engineer / Engineer, Solar Project for a 1-year temp contract at the Singapore Rail Testing Centre (SRTC) in the western region. You will support delivery, tender administration, project coordination, and the deployment and commissioning of the solar PV system.

You will assist the Project Manager with end-to-end delivery, monitor schedules, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with contractors and authorities for successful

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Renewable Energy or related discipline).
• Experience managing solar PV projects from design to commissioning and O&M.
• Familiar with authority submission and grid connection requirements.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work on-site in the western region of Singapore.
• Committed to completing the project within contract duration.
• Project management skills.
• Experience in railway environment and/or rail safety requirements.
• Experience with utility-scale or embedded solar PV systems.
• Familiar with testing and commissioning procedures for electrical systems.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing end-to-end delivery of the solar PV project, including coordination with contractor and internal stakeholders.
• Support tender administration and project coordination.
• Oversee deployment and commissioning of the solar PV system.
• Monitor project schedule, deliverables, and milestones for timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory requirements, and site safety plans.
• Coordinate with authorities, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support resolution of technical, site, and coordination issues.
