Job summary

Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore is seeking an Executive Engineer / Engineer for a 1-year temp contract to support a solar PV project at the Singapore Rail Testing Centre in the western region. You will assist the Project Manager with tender administration, coordination, deployment, and commissioning activities.

The role requires experience in solar PV projects from design to commissioning and O&M, familiarity with authority submissions and grid connection, and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience managing solar PV projects from design to commissioning and O&M.
• Knowledge of authority submissions, approvals, and grid connection requirements.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• On-site work capability in western Singapore region.
• Railway environment and rail safety experience.
• Experience with utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in end-to-end delivery; coordinate design, approvals, and contractor activities.
• Monitor project schedule, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Support site supervision to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Support site safety plans implementation.
• Monitor adherence to method statements and risk assessments.
• Resolve technical, site, and coordination issues.
