Job summary

A culinary training organization in Singapore is looking for a Cook to prepare daily meals following nutritional standards. The ideal candidate will have a higher education qualification and possess at least 2 years of cooking experience. Responsibilities also include training support for culinary skills and maintaining a safe kitchen environment. Good communication skills and familiarity with Halal practices are essential.

Qualifications

  • Possess 2 years of working experience as a Cook.
  • Able to interact well with people with special needs and their caregivers.
  • Familiarity with Halal practices and basic costing principles.

  • Plan and prepare daily meals in accordance with menu and nutritional standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with SFA and food hygiene regulations
  • Work closely with instructors to involve trainees in kitchen activities (e.g. food prep, plating, cleaning)
  • Support training of culinary skills and kitchen safety to trainees
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is well maintained and properly handled
  • Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and purchasing needs
  • Prepare food for internal events or catering projects as assigned

Job Requirements
  • Higher NITEC/ Diploma/ Degree in any discipline
  • Possess 2 years of working experience as a Cook
