sggovterp is seeking a driven engineer to join our team, contributing to Singapore's green building initiatives by evaluating projects for Green Mark certification and integrating passive and active strategies for energy efficiency.
You will collaborate with developers, architects, engineers and industry professionals to create healthier, more sustainable buildings and advance Singapore's green building agenda.
You will be part of a dynamic team driving sustainable building design and green certification, with a focus on integrating passive and active strategies, and environmental resilience into Singapore's built environment.
Primarily, you will play a key role in evaluating projects against Singapore's Green Mark certification. You will also be instrumental in advancing Singapore's green building agenda while collaborating with stakeholders such as developers, architects, engineers and industry professionals to create healthier, more sustainable buildings.
A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline).
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in consultancy or design.
Strong analytical, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
A proactive mindset with a passion for learning and staying ahead of industry trends.
Professional certification in green building assessment (e.g., Green Mark AP, LEED AP) or willingness to obtain certification would be an advantage.
Understanding of building systems, energy efficiency principles and green building concepts.
