Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts Singapore is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort across all areas of the hotel. The role requires strong leadership, training, and a focus on guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor budgets, collaborate with other departments, and implement IHG Way of Clean procedures to maintain quality and efficiency while driving profitability and staff development.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or other relevant qualification
• Oral and written fluency in English. Fluency in another language is an advantage
• Commitment to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the housekeeping department to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.
• Supervise, train, and motivate staff; conduct performance reviews and provide recognition.
• Coordinate with other departments (Sales, F&B, Front Office, Maintenance) to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and control departmental budgets and stock levels; implement cost-control measures and inventory checks.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and guest safety procedures are followed; handle guest requests and service recovery as needed.
