Singapore Red Cross Society seeks an Executive, HoME+ (Engagement) to provide administrative support to the HoME+ service under the Community Engagement Division. The role primarily focuses on overseeing all partnership establishment and development, volunteer management and training.
This role requires coordinating outreach, building collaborations, and ensuring smooth operations and stakeholder engagement to support home monitoring and eldercare services.
About the programme: Home Monitoring and Eldercare (HoME+) is a monitoring system using sensors placed around the home. When unusual patterns are detected (inactive, fall, etc.) or when the user activates the panic button, the Red Cross' call centre is notified immediately. Depending on the situation, community responders or the SCDF (for emergencies) will be dispatched to provide assistance.
The Executive, HoME+ (Engagement) is responsible for providing efficient administrative functions and operational support to the Home Monitoring and Eldercare (HoME+) service/program under the Community Engagement Division of the Singapore Red Cross.
This role primarily focuses on overseeing all partnership establishment and development, volunteer management and training.
Develop and execute partnership and outreach strategies to grow programme reach in line with annual programme growth targets.
Identify, assess and establish new community and organisational partnerships that can expand the programme and connect the programme with new client groups.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and collaboration.
Identify and develop strategy partnerships that complement and extend the range of support beyond core programme scope.
Develop and oversee a sustainable volunteer strategy to ensure that programme has the capacity, capabilities and leadership needed to support its growth.
Develop and implement volunteer engagement, onboarding, development, and retention strategies to build a committed and effective volunteer community.
Identify emerging programme needs and new opportunities for volunteer involvement; design and curate appropriate volunteer roles, responsibilities, and engagement models to meet these needs.
Drive initiatives to strengthen volunteer satisfaction, engagement, sense of purpose, and retention through regular engagement activities and feedback mechanisms.
Monitor volunteer capacity, participation, engagement, and retention trends, and translate insights into initiatives that strengthen the overall volunteer pipeline.
Manage and respond to volunteer feedback, concerns, and issues in a timely and constructive manner, escalating matters where appropriate and ensuring appropriate follow-through.
Plan, coordinate, and manage training programmes for volunteers.
Review and continuously improve training content and delivery to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Develop and maintain structured training schedules to support operational needs.
Support HoME+ operations when necessary including but not limited to installations, activations and overall service delivery processes to ensure operational efficiency.
Respond to partnerships and volunteer related enquiries via email and phone, providing timely and effective assistance.
Assist with administrative processes
Participate in departmental and organisational events and initiatives.
Possess a Diploma from a recognised institution.
Experience in a similar or related role and/or working with volunteers preferred.
Good command of both spoken and written English.
Computer literate.
Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
Meticulous with an eye for details and multi-task effectively.
High initiative.
Experience in partnership or volunteer work will be an advantage.
Independent with the ability to relate well to people of all levels.
Task-oriented and outcome driven.
Demonstrate initiative and ability to work as a team above and beyond the job scope.
