Job summary

SP Group is seeking a skilled Mapping and Earthworks Administration professional to manage Electricity and Gas Survey Data for SPPA and PGAS, and to oversee contractor registration and notices for earthworks and cable & gas plan sales. You will report to the Section Head and ensure data quality and KPI delivery.

You’ll lead the Data Management (Elect) team, collaborate across disciplines to define GIS-enabled features, and support system enhancements, including UAT.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering from a university recognised by the Singapore PE Board.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous and a team player.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Geographic Information System (GIS) software; ESRI GIS is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Management (Elect) team to update elect survey data and meet KPI.
• Ensure submitted survey data complies with Underground Utilities Survey Standards and data integrity.
• Lead GIS management and identify new solutions to complement current services.
• Collaborate to design and define product features and support implementation, including UAT.
• Regularly assess whether the application meets user needs and business opportunities.
• Perform other duties related to the job scope.

Job description

This role will be part of the Mapping and Earthworks Administration to manage Electricity and Gas Survey Data for SPPA and PGAS, Management of Contractor registration and Administration of Notice of Commencement of Earthworks/Notice for Commencement of Detection and Processing the Sales of Cable & Gas Plans. You will report to the Section Head and responsible for the functions as stated.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the Data Management (Elect) team to update the elect survey data and ensure they are completed within KPI.
• Ensure the submitted survey data complies with the Underground Utilities Survey Standards and ensure data integrity.
• Lead Manager for our Geographical Information System and to provide thought leadership in identifying new solutions to complement our current suite of services.
• Collaborate with various team members and stakeholders to lead the design and definition of product features and support implementation and execution, including managing UAT for system enhancement.
• Constantly evaluate if our application meets the users' needs, solves their problems, and offers business opportunities.
• Perform any other duties related to the job scope.

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in any Engineering discipline from university recognized by Singapore PE Board
