Job summary

Goldman Sachs Asset Management Operations in Singapore seeks a Vice President-level professional to oversee trade lifecycle activities across equities, fixed income, currencies, and derivatives in Asia. The role collaborates with traders, PMs, and global operations to ensure risk control and regulatory compliance while driving efficiency and system improvements.

You will lead complex settlements, support regional trading desks, and mentor junior staff within a fast-paced, risk-aware environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across audiences.
• Experience working with traders, PMs, and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee trading-related activities: confirmations and settlements across markets and products, ensuring policy and regulatory alignment.
• Provide strategic support to trading desks; address ad-hoc queries and contribute to new strategies and launches.
• Lead process improvements, automation projects, and control enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to drive collaborative solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement and risk awareness.
• Strengthen control environment by identifying risks and designing mitigations aligned to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cross-functional projects related to system enhancements, onboarding of new products, and regulatory changes.
