Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a responsible, service-oriented individual to join our team providing operational support for the monastery’s security and transportation functions, coordinating visitor logistics, and assisting with administrative duties. The ideal candidate should possess a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and commitment to safety and service excellence.

Your Role:

Security Coordination

• Assist in coordinating and monitoring security-related and CCTV matters
• Support the implementation and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, security personnel, and external service providers on security-related issues
• Report security incidents, concerns, or irregularities to the Head of Security and assist in follow-up actions when required
• Support the Supervisor with other operational duties and special assignments as required

Transportation & Logistics Support

• Provide safe, timely, and professional transportation services as assigned
• Operate the monastery’s vehicles for official business, including running errands and delivering or collecting items when required
• Operate buggies to facilitate the transportation of visitors within the monastery’s premises
• Ensure the safe operation of the buggies in accordance with established safety guidelines
• Ensure all assigned vehicles, including buggies, are maintained in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance requirements or defects
• Manage insurance matters related to the monastery’s vehicles

Other Duties

• Assist visitors with directions and provide courteous support to enhance their overall experience
• Support the department’s admin and logistic matters
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management

What You Bring:

• Qualification: GCE ‘N’ Level and above
• Year(s) of Experience: Experience in security operations, facility security, or a related field, Proven experience in driving vehicles and/or providing chauffeur services is preferred
• Language(s): Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with both English and mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Knowledge/Skill(s): Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence with a clean driving record, Good interpersonal and communication skills, good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism
• Physically fit and able to perform operational duties, including prolonged driving and standing
• Candidate with valid Security Officer Licence will be of an advantage
