Job summary

SP Group is seeking a hands-on Backend Technical Lead to drive design, development, scalability, and operational excellence of our EV Charging platform. You will lead backend architecture, ensure production stability, and mentor engineers across multiple backend services.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building production-grade backend services.
• Strong Golang background with scalable systems experience.
• Experience in RESTful API design and system integrations.
• Hands-on with cloud-native deployments (Azure or AWS).
• Mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend architecture and system & design.
• Own end-to-end delivery of backend services.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance and security.
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and design reviews.
• Improve database performance and cost optimization.
• Lead incident investigations and RCA.
• Design event-driven and asynchronous systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps on deployment and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical initiatives.
