Job summary

Anergy Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on EV Charger Installation Electrician to join our growing team in Singapore.

You will carry out electrical installation works for AC and DC EV charging stations at residential, commercial, industrial, and carpark locations, install cables, distribution boards, and test and commission installations.

Training is provided; a relevant NITEC/Higher NITEC or WSQ, reading drawings, and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant electrical qualification (NITEC/Higher NITEC/WSQ) in Electrical Engineering or Installation.
• Experience in EV charger installation is a plus; training will be provided.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works for AC and DC EV charging stations at residential, commercial, industrial and carpark locations.
• Install and terminate cables, conduits, trunking, cable trays and other electrical containment systems.
• Install EV charger isolators, distribution boards and protection devices.
• Perform cable pulling, termination, testing and commissioning works.
• Assist with installation of mounting structures, plinths and related equipment.
• Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting of EV charging installations.
• Ensure all works comply with Singapore electrical safety requirements and project specs.

EV Charger Installation Electrician

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

As the adoption of electric vehicles continues to grow in Singapore, we are expanding our installation team and looking for a hands-on EV Charger Installation Electrician to join us.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works for AC and DC EV charging stations at residential, commercial, industrial and carpark locations.
• Install and terminate electrical cables, conduits, trunking, cable trays and other electrical containment systems.
• Install EV charger isolators, distribution boards, protection devices and associated electrical equipment.
• Perform cable pulling, glanding, termination, testing and commissioning works.
• Assist with installation of EV charger mounting structures, plinths and related equipment.
• Carry out electrical testing and troubleshooting of EV charging installations.
• Conduct basic fault finding and rectification of electrical and EV charging systems.
• Ensure all installation works comply with applicable Singapore electrical safety requirements, company procedures and project specifications .
• Work closely with the project engineer, LEW and site team to complete installations safely and according to schedule.
• Attend service and maintenance works for existing EV charging installations when required.
• Prepare basic installation records, photographs and work completion reports.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards at project sites.
• Perform other electrical and EV-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Relevant NITEC, Higher NITEC, WSQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Installation .
• Previous experience in electrical installation works is preferred.
• Experience with EV charger installation will be an advantage, but training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Able to read and understand basic electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Familiar with electrical tools, cable termination and testing equipment.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at different project sites.
• Good attitude, responsible and willing to learn.
• Relevant electrical certifications or experience in EV charging systems will be an added advantage.
