Job summary

EV-Electric (EVe) Charging Pte Ltd seeks an Assistant Technical Manager to drive the electrical infrastructure upgrades powering Singapore’s growing EV charging network. You will oversee site execution, collaborate with contractors, agencies, and internal teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes hands-on site work, stakeholder coordination, and end-to-end project delivery from planning to completion, contributing to Singapore’s EV

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably involving electrical infrastructure upgrades.
  • Candidates with no experience will be considered if they demonstrate strong organizational skills, teamwork, and leadership potential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; GIS/BIM experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support electrical infrastructure upgrade works from tender and evaluation through construction and post-completion.
  • Manage site progress and supervise contractor performance.
  • Conduct and support site assessments to ensure readiness and compliance.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within approved budgets.
  • Coordinate with partner agencies and stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation.
  • Organize stakeholder meetings and proactively resolve site or coordination issues.
  • Ensure works are properly sequenced and de-conflicted to minimize disruption.
  • Support day-to-day operational and administrative functions within the team.
  • Lead or support ad-hoc projects and improvement initiatives.

About the Role

AsAssistant Technical Manager, EV Infrastructure Development, you will support the execution of electrical infrastructure upgrades—such as substations and consumer switch rooms that power Singapore’s growing EV charging network.

You will work closely with contractors, partner agencies, and internal teams to ensure projects are deliveredsafely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on site work, stakeholder coordination, and seeing complex infrastructure projects through from planning to completion.

What You Will Do
Project & Site Execution
  • Support electrical infrastructure upgrade works from tender and evaluation through construction and post-completion
