Job summary

Airetec PTE. LTD. seeks an Assistant Engineer to handle technical work and project coordination for EV charging systems in Singapore. The role involves site surveys, load assessments, and collaboration with LEWs for installation and commissioning.

You will prepare documentation for EMA/LTA compliance, manage client communications, and oversee progress, costs, and timelines across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (degree preferred).
• 1–3 years in electrical installation, EV chargers, or M&E projects in Singapore.
• Hands-on EMA processes and LEWs experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EV charger projects from site survey to handover, including scheduling, manpower, materials and subcontractors.
• Carry out site surveys and load assessments, and prepare single-line diagrams and installation layouts.
• Work with Licensed Electrical Workers on installation, testing and commissioning of AC and DC chargers.
• Prepare and submit documents for EMA and LTA requirements, including EV charger registration and TR 25 compliance.
• Act as day-to-day contact for clients, MCSTs, building managers and main contractors.
• Track project progress, costs and timelines, and report to the Project Manager.
• Support troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and after-sales service.
• Ensure site work follows WSH regulations and company safety procedures.

About Us

Airetec designs, installs and maintains electric vehicle (EV) charging systems for condominiums, commercial buildings, car parks and fleet operators across Singapore. As Singapore moves toward its EV targets, our project pipeline is growing. We need an Assistant Engineer who can handle both the technical side and project coordination.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate EV charger projects from site survey to handover, including scheduling, manpower, materials and subcontractors
• Carry out site surveys and load assessments, and prepare single-line diagrams and installation layouts
• Work with our Licensed Electrical Workers (LEWs) on installation, testing and commissioning of AC and DC chargers
• Prepare and submit documents for EMA and LTA requirements, including EV charger registration and compliance with TR 25
• Act as the day-to-day contact for clients, MCSTs, building managers and main contractors
• Track project progress, costs and timelines, and report to the Project Manager
• Support troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and after-sales service
• Make sure site work follows WSH regulations and company safety procedures

What We Are Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field (degree preferred)
• At least 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical installation, EV chargers, or M&E projects in Singapore
• Hands-on experience working with EMA processes and LEWs
• Understanding of Singapore electrical standards (SS 638, TR 25) and the EV charger registration process
• Good coordination and communication skills, with the ability to handle several sites at once
• Able to read electrical drawings; AutoCAD is an advantage
• Valid Singapore Class 3 / 3A driving licence (required, as you will drive the company vehicle between sites)

Good to Have

• Experience with OCPP-based charging platforms or load management systems
• Holding or working towards an LEW licence
• BizSAFE or WSH-related certifications
