Job summary

The LUMINOUS! Centre of Excellence at NTU invites applications for a Research Fellow in EUV Nanophotonics and Nanopatterning.

You will fabricate chip-scale, free-electron-driven EUV sources and 10 nm lithography masks, integrating them with advanced vacuum and electron-optical systems to push EUV emission and nanopatterning capabilities. You will lead proof-of-concept demonstrations, validate beam-matter interactions, and contribute to NTU’s leadership in EUV nanophotonics.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field (Physics, Engineering, Nanotechnology, or similar).
• Significant hands-on experience with electron-beam systems and nanofabrication.
• Experience in high-vacuum/UHV environments and chip-scale device packaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and assembly of high-vacuum and ultra-high vacuum systems and experimental setups.
• Develop and integrate chip-scale EUV emitter components and nanopatterning masks.
• Fabricate and characterize EUV sources and masks with ~10 nm feature sizes.
• Oversee nanopatterning demonstrations and device integration in vacuum environments.
• Mentor PhD students and junior researchers; disseminate findings through publications and conferences.
