The LUMINOUS! Centre of Excellence for Semiconductor Lighting and Displays at NTU is seeking a Research Assistant (Experimental EUV Nanophotonics) to support an NRF-funded project. You will assist in device fabrication, vacuum-system integration, and EUV measurements while contributing to data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Hands-on lab experience in semiconductor device fabrication or nanofabrication preferred.
• Experience with vacuum systems, SEM/EDS, spectroscopy, or cleanroom tools an advantage.
• Ability to analyze data using Python, MATLAB, Origin, or Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fabrication and processing of EUV light-source components including cathodes and multilayer optics.
• Support integration of vacuum chambers, detectors, and measurement setups.
• Carry out thin-film deposition, lithography, etching, and sample mounting tasks.
• Perform electrical, optical, structural, and vacuum-based characterization (SEM/EDS, profilometry/AFM, spectroscopy, cathodoluminescence, EUV measurements).
• Support data analysis, reporting, figures, and project documentation.
