NTU Singapore's School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering invites a Research Fellow to advance simulations and theory of EUV light generation for spectroscopy and nanolithography.

You will tackle electrodynamics problems, develop efficient modeling software in C++ and Python, and explore ab initio formulations from Maxwell's equations and quantum electrodynamics. The role offers collaboration with leading researchers and access to advanced computational resources.

Qualificações

• PhD degree in physics, mathematics, engineering or related field.
• Strong background in electrodynamics simulations techniques.
• Strong background in C++, Python or similar languages.
• Strong background in theoretical physics and mathematical physics.

Responsabilidades

• Computationally solve electrodynamics problems involving electron-photon and electron-matter interactions in the EUV regime.
• Develop new, efficient software for modeling electromagnetic phenomena, using languages such as C++ and Python.
• Formulate new theories pertaining to EUV generation, obtained ab initio from Maxwell's equations and quantum electrodynamics/quantum field theory.
