Job summary

RHENUS LOGISTICS ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a Regional Trade Lane Manager – Europe to drive strategy execution and serve as the first point of contact for rate inquiries, tariffs and other trade administration.

You will support regional and local teams to ensure timely performance. The role demands 5+ years in ocean procurement or operations, a university degree, strong negotiation, cross‑cultural communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, travel‑required

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an ocean procurement or operations role in freight forwarding company or ocean carrier.
• University degree in Management, Engineering, Trade or Logistics.
• Excellent commercial understanding and negotiation skills.
• Strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel as needed and manage multiple projects under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to rate inquiries, manage tariffs and administrative tasks for Europe trade.
• Identify growth opportunities and align with trade management to materialize them.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements and strategic adjustments.
• Coordinate with countries and teams to maximise opportunities and align pricing, capacity and trade solutions.
• Assist RFQs and tenders and support carrier relationship management.
• Deliver market intelligence and trade insights to support pricing, procurement and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Country Product Managers to align trade strategy with commercial objectives.
