Job summary

A global logistics leader in Singapore seeks a Manager for Trade Lane Procurement overseeing APAC to East Coast South America operations. The role involves leading procurement, pricing strategy, and maintaining carrier relationships to ensure competitive ocean freight solutions. Ideal candidates should possess strong negotiation skills, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and 7-10 years of experience in ocean freight or trade lane management. Proficiency in Freightify and fluency in English and Portuguese are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in ocean freight procurement or trade lane management.
• Demonstrated success in rate negotiations and pricing strategy.
• Experience working with APAC–LATAM or WCSA trade lanes is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations with carriers to secure optimal rates and service levels.
• Develop target sell rates and manage General Rate Increase cycles.
• Oversee contract management and ensure compliance with FMC regulations.
