Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking an Equipment Associate Engineer for the Etching Department. The role focuses on equipment preventive maintenance and performance indices to support production in a 12-hour rotating shift.

You will assist engineers with installation, troubleshooting, and process improvements, while maintaining 6S housekeeping and safety. Experience with Etch tools and related DPS/Super e/MXP tools is desirable.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Microelectronics required.
Applied material Etch, DPS, Super e, MXP/MXP+ tool experience preferred.
2–5 years in electrical/electronics industry experience.
Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift and night shift.
Team player with good safety practices.

Responsibilities

Perform 12-hour rotating shift duties to support production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness for production.
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration on a timely basis with Quality.
Assist Engineers in installation and hook-up of new equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.
Assist in implementing process improvement projects.
Mentor On-The-Job-Training for new Associate Engineers as buddy.
Participate in 10k ideas, LSS & BKM programs to boost productivity and quality.
Maintain 6S housekeeping and safe custody of tools and equipment.
