Job summary

SSMC in Singapore is seeking an Associate Engineer, Equipment Eng. (Etching) to join the Equipment Eng PM team. You will assist engineers to improve equipment performance, support 12-hour rotating shifts, and help install and calibrate new equipment.

Fresh diploma holders are invited; diploma fields include Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Microelectronics or Chemical Process Technology. The role emphasizes 6S housekeeping, safety, and hands-on OJT mentorship.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Microelectronics / Chemical Process Technology.
• Fresh diploma holders will be considered; training provided.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and CpK indices.
• Support 12-hour rotating shift operations to ensure equipment readiness for production.
• Assist in installation, calibration and preventive maintenance of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and support process improvements.
• Mentor new associates during On-The-Job-Training (OJT).
• Maintain 6S housekeeping and safe custody of tools and equipment.
