Job summary

VDL ETG Singapore is seeking an ERP Finance Specialist to support and enhance our ERP Finance modules and integration interfaces. You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive digital transformation initiatives.

The role covers month-end and year-end activities, system upgrades, testing, and deployment, with a focus on data accuracy and automation across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP support, business applications, finance systems, or related roles.
• Knowledge of ERP Finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing, and Cash Management.
• Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, middleware, or interface support.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain ERP Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing, Cash Management).
• Monitor ERP interfaces, APIs, and integrations for accurate data exchange.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, transaction, and interface issues to minimize disruption.
• Support month-end/year-end closing activities in the ERP system.
• Participate in ERP upgrades, testing, and deployment.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with global ERP teams and external vendors to deliver solutions.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Provide user training and support to drive adoption and compliance.
• Ensure governance, audit requirements, and company standards while pursuing continuous improvement.

• Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, middleware, or interface support.


• Familiarity with Infor LN, BaaN IV, Infor ION, API, and BOD integration technologies is an advantage.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reconciliation.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.


• Effective communication skills with the ability to work across cross-functional and global teams.


• Experience in manufacturing environments and continuous improvement methodologies will be an added advantage.
