Job summary

CGS International Securities Pte. Ltd. (CGS International) in Singapore is seeking an entry-level Equity Research Analyst to support our equities coverage.

You will analyze industry trends, build financial models and forecast company performance to generate investment insights for institutional clients. The role requires a basic understanding of financial statements and accounting standards, along with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in equity analysis
• Financial modelling including understanding of financial statements and accounting standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Analyse industry macro trends and financials of companies under coverage
• Build financial forecasts of companies under coverage
• Value companies under coverage via various methodologies
• Produce value added equity investment reports for institutional investors
• Recommend buy-and-sell actions on stocks under coverage
• Contribute to thematic sector reports on Singapore stocks
• Provide clients with timely updates to drivers that may impact the value of investments (e.g. macroeconomic outlook, industry trends, company-specific newsflow)

• Contribute to thematic sector reports on Singapore stocks
• Provide clients with timely updates to drivers that may impact the value of investments (e.g. macroeconomic outlook, industry trends, company-specific newsflow)
• Market and present investment ideas to institutional investors
