Job summary

CGS International Securities Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an entry-level Equity Research Analyst to support analysts in building financial models and researching Singapore-listed companies.

Responsibilities include analysing industry trends, forecasting financials, and preparing investment reports for institutional clients. The role requires 1 year of relevant experience and solid skills in valuation and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in financial services or equity research.
• Proficient in financial modelling and reading financial statements.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with valuation methodologies used in equity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyse industry macrotrends and financials of covered companies.
• Build financial forecasts for covered companies.
• Value companies using various methodologies.
• Produce equity research reports for institutional investors.
• Recommend buy/sell actions on stocks under coverage.
• Contribute to thematic sector reports on Singapore stocks.
• Provide clients with timely updates on drivers impacting investments.
• Market and present investment ideas to institutional investors.
