Job summary

AAA Global is seeking an experienced Equity Options Trader to join a growing APAC-focused desk. You will trade single-stock options, leverage the team’s pricing models and market data to capture opportunities across volatility-based and directional strategies.

You will work with quant researchers and engineers to refine hedging and risk controls, make rapid real-time decisions, and mentor junior traders as the desk expands into new markets and underlyings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing an equity options book at a trading firm, bank or market maker.
• Strong track record of profitability in volatility-based or directional strategies.
• Deep understanding of options Greeks, volatility surfaces and market microstructure.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a solid risk framework.

The Team

The role sits within a growing equity options trading team trading single-stock options across a broad range of underlyings. The team combines strong execution, proprietary pricing models and high-quality market data to capture opportunities across both volatility-based and directional strategies.

As the business continues to expand, the team is looking for an experienced Equity Volatility Trader to help drive performance and innovation. The market focus for this seat is flexible: APAC exposure is welcome, but the team is open to strong traders from any major equity options market.

Key Responsibilities

• Run and develop equity options trading strategies across single stocks, drawing on your own insights alongside the team's research and tools.
• Work closely with quant researchers, software engineers and execution specialists to refine pricing, hedging and risk management.
• Make real-time trading decisions based on market dynamics, volatility and flow.
• Contribute to the evolution of the desk, from strategy refinement to expansion into new markets and underlyings.
• Mentor junior traders and share expertise to strengthen the team as a whole.

Requirements
