Job summary

GlobalFoundries is hiring an Associate Engineer, Equipment Engineering in Singapore to support and optimize test operations. You will maintain equipment, analyze performance trends, and drive improvements to ensure quality and safety. No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.

You will work 12-hour rotating shifts, develop procedures for test control, coordinate with specialists, and manage test fixtures in a cleanroom environment as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Able to rotate 12-hour shifts and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour shift duties to optimize test operations and support production goals.
• Develop and implement methods for test process control and improvement.
• Coordinate with specialists to ensure SOP adherence and efficiency.
• Design and operate test equipment and fixtures while maintaining quality and reducing defects.
• Analyze reports to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers on quality issues and implement corrective actions.
