Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) in Singapore is seeking an Associate Engineer to join the Etch department. You will support engineers to develop, sustain and improve process capability for production.

Diploma holders in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related fields are welcome; candidates with no experience may apply. Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills are valued in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Microelectronics/ Chemical Process Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Candidates without experience are also welcome to apply.
• Basic engineering knowledge including semiconductor devices theory, electronics, electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic control system, digital principle, wafer fabrication processes, pump and vacuum system and electrical wiring system
• Good Team Player
• Good Problem-Solving skills

Responsibilities

• To assist engineers to develop, sustain and improve process capability indices to meet operations goals
• Perform shift duties to support the running of Production in the module and ensure that process integrity for machines is in place for production
• Assist engineers in the qualification and fine tuning of processes for production
• Trouble-shoot process related issues and minimize the time lots on hold
• Create job-files for metrology tools for production set-up, and housekeeping of files
• Monitor and improve on the qualified process using SPC and other statistical tools
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects
• Maintain a good audit system for ISO requirements, internal and QA audit on process documentation
• Participate in continuous improvement programs to improve productivity and output quality of the module
