Job summary

No deviation Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliability, availability, and GMP-compliant operation of API manufacturing equipment. You will support maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across four production streams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 3–8 years in pharma/API environments, with hands-on maintenance of process equipment and a focus on safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years in pharma/API/chemical manufacturing.
• Strong GMP knowledge and regulated industry standards.
• Experience in maintenance of process equipment in API manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead troubleshooting and provide technical support to a shift team of mechanical and instrumentation technicians.
• Establish and maintain spares to minimise downtime.
• Develop and improve maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
• Ensure maintenance instructions promote personnel safety.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and global engineering standards.
• Incorporate data integrity requirements into maintenance activities.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper storage of parts.
• Review completed work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist in planning yearly plant shutdowns with Engineering Manager.
• Lead maintenance to enable rapid product changeovers across four production streams.
• Support minor improvement projects by updating preventive maintenance plans.
• Identify and lead ongoing improvement projects.
