Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks an Equipment Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve manufacturing equipment within the MSB site at Bendemeer Road.

You will work with Shift Operations, area equipment engineers and tool vendors to ensure optimal tool performance. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) with experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and knowledge of semiconductor processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering; Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies preferred.
• Able to work on 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, sustain and improve equipment in assigned area.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets.
• Repair equipment using mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Shift Operations, area equipment engineers and tool vendors.

Equipment Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to repair equipment issues.Responsibilities• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements. • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.Requirements- Diploma in Engineering.
