Job summary

STMicroelectronics Singapore is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to perform installation, maintenance and calibration of wafer handling and related equipment, ensuring safety, quality and uptime.

You'll liaise with vendors, support preventive maintenance programs, and contribute to cost reduction initiatives; a diploma/degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics and semiconductor equipment exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering with relevant experience.
• Experience in Wafer Handling Equipment preferred.
• Experience in Semiconductor / Electrical Wafer testing equipment advantageous.
• Experience in Cleanroom environment advantageous.
• Good team player with a positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication with peers.

Responsibilities

• Perform and follow up Equipment installation of new and transferred equipment and ensure its adherence to safety, schedule, quality and ecology specification.
• Perform and follow up corrective maintenance to ensure Equipment are operating within specification and expected reliability.
• Supervise, in the capacity of Tool Owner, to ensure designated tasks are performance according to specification.
• Perform and follow up with schedule preventive maintenance and calibration program and ensure that it is performed in adherence to documented working procedures and in a timely manner.
• Implement, recommend and follow up on equipment improvement and reliability program, to ensure it achieved expected results.
• Carry out and recommend action plans to reduce cost of equipment maintenance activities.
• Liaise with Equipment Vendors and third Party Suppliers in procuring necessary parts to carry out installation and servicing of Equipment.
