Job summary

STMicroelectronics Singapore is seeking an Equipment Owner to lead maintenance improvements that optimize cost per wafer, reliability, yield and throughput. You will manage startup, coordinate vendors and provide hands-on support to the maintenance team in a fast-paced wafer fabrication environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics/mechanical engineering and 3+ years of experience with wet processing equipment (Semitool SST/Siconnex) or WET benches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics/mechanical engineering.
• Experience with Wet Equipment Spin tools (Semitool SST/Siconnex) or WET benches.
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics and analyze diagrams.
• Good problem solving, analytical and teamwork skills.
• Familiar with MS Office; PLC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage new equipment start up and liaise with vendors for production acceptance.

• Establish CM procedures and troubleshooting guides for efficient fixes.
• Set PM procedures to maximize maintenance efficiency without compromising quality.

• Translate Production/Engineering needs into maintenance tasks with teams.
• Lead cost-reduction projects to improve cost efficiency.
• Generate downtime Pareto reports and analyze chronic issues.

YOUR ROLE

You will take on the role of Equipment owner and implement equipment improvement projects to achieve the best possible maintenance cost per wafer, equipment reliability, wafer fab yield and throughput parameters. Your job scope include:

• Manage new equipment start up, liaise with vendors, to acceptance of equipment for production
• Plan, organize and implement technical support and expertise on specific tools to Assistant Maintenance Engineers and Technicians
• Establish CM procedures and troubleshooting guides to allow efficient troubleshooting
• Establish PM procedures to achieve best possible Preventive Maintenance efficiency without compromising quality
• Provide training to Assistant Maintenance Engineers, Technicians to enhance their troubleshooting skills and equipment knowledge
• Establish critical equipment spares, consumables stock levels to support equipment recovery time
• Translates the requirements of Production and Engineering needs into maintenance tasks and work closely with them to achieve the overall committed targets in all aspects of manufacturing parameters.
• Participate in cost reduction projects to maintain cost efficiency
• Generate regular Equipment downtime pareto reports and analyzing for any chronic/repeated issues.
  

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics/mechanical engineering
• Min 3 years' experience in Wet Equipment Spin tool (Semitool SST/Siconnex) or WET Benches
• Good knowledge in reading and analyzing electrical schematic and block diagrams
• Good hands-on experience in mechanical systems such as pump and flow systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills are required
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to teamwork within and with other departments
• Familiar with Microsoft office applications
• Good knowledge in statistical tools, problem solving tools, FMEA and 8D
• Knowledge in PLC programming will be an added advantage
