Job summary

STMICROELECTRONICS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to install, calibrate and commission wafer-handling equipment, ensuring safety, quality and ecology standards across projects.

You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance, supervise as Tool Owner for assigned tasks, and drive reliability improvements through timely maintenance and calibration, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering with relevant experience.
• Experience with wafer handling equipment.
• Experience with semiconductor/electrical wafer testing equipment is an advantage.
• Experience in cleanroom environment is an advantage.
• Good teamwork, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication with peers.

Responsibilities

• Install and follow up equipment, ensuring safety, schedule, quality and ecology specs.
• Perform corrective maintenance to keep equipment within spec and reliable.
• Act as Tool Owner to supervise designated tasks per specification.
• Execute preventive maintenance and calibration per procedures and timelines.
• Suggest and follow up on equipment improvements and reliability programs to achieve results.

Job description

Your ROLE

• Perform and follow up Equipment installation of new and transferred equipment and ensure its adherence to safety, schedule, quality and ecology specification.
• Perform and follow up corrective maintenance to ensure Equipment are operating within specification and expected reliability
• Supervise, in the capacity of Tool Owner, to ensure designated tasks are performance according to specification.
• Perform and follow up with schedule preventive maintenance and calibration program and ensure that it is performed in adherence to documented working procedures and in a timely manner
• Implement , recommend and follow up on equipment improvement and reliability program, to ensure it achieved expected results

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering with relevant experience
• Experience in Wafer Handling Equipment will be preferred
• Experience in Semiconductor / Electrical Wafer testing equipment will be an advantage
• Experience in Cleanroom environment will be an advantage
• Good Team player, positive working attitude and willingness to learn
