Role Description

Environmental Control Officers at Expand Construction Pte Ltd play a key role in ensuring site activities comply with environmental regulations and company standards. This full-time, on-site position is based in Singapore and involves daily inspections of construction sites, monitoring pollution control measures, and verifying proper waste management practices. The role includes identifying potential environmental risks, recommending corrective and preventive actions, and preparing reports and documentation for regulatory submissions. Environmental Control Officers collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and authorities to align work processes with environmental requirements and conduct briefings or trainings on environmental best practices. The position also requires keeping updated on local environmental laws and guidelines to support continuous compliance and improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of environmental compliance and relevant local regulations, with practical experience applying Environmental Compliance on construction or industrial sites.
• Minimum 2 year of relevant experiences in construction worksite.
• Ability to provide Environmental Consulting support to project teams, including assessing environmental risks and proposing mitigation measures.
• Familiarity with Environmental Law and statutory requirements in Singapore, with the capability to interpret and implement regulatory guidelines on site.
• Hands-on experience in Inspection activities such as site audits, monitoring of emissions, noise, and waste management, and documenting findings accurately.
• Supervisory Skills to guide site personnel on environmental practices, coordinate with contractors, and enforce compliance in a fair and consistent manner.
• Relevant certification or registration as an Environmental Control Officer (or equivalent) in Singapore is preferred.

Possess

• ECMO Certificate.
• Diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline is advantageous.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and workplace safety standards will be beneficial
