Job summary

HWA SENG BUILDER PTE LTD is seeking an Environmental Control Officer to coordinate environmental programs and ensure NEA/EHS compliance across sites. You will produce reports, conduct audits, and lead training to uphold high environmental health standards.

The role requires ECMO qualification and at least 3 years local ECO experience, with immediate or short-notice start availability. Tax-deductible? Not specified. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

Must be NEA Registered ECO; no requirement for Safety Supervisor, Coordinator or Officer.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in local ECO position.
Familiar with OSH/ISO documentation and standards.
Available to start immediately or on short notice.
ECMO qualification and regulatory compliance expertise.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement all Environmental Control Programs.
Ensure operations comply with NEA and EHS regulations.
Produce Site Environmental Control Report regularly.
Conduct environmental control audits and investigations.
Promote environmental public health at the site and conduct training.
Meet statutory roles of NEA Registered and maintain environmental health standards.
Coordinate Environmental Control Committee meetings.
Maintain mandatory records and documentation for regulatory authorities.
Maintain environmental requirements in line with ISO 14001:2015.
Advise site staff on environmental issues and remediation actions.
