Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners is seeking a Process Development Technician to assist in the processing, fabrication and characterization of optical microstructures. You will execute standard process runs in a cleanroom, perform optical alignment, and ensure reliable data collection to drive development activities.

The role requires 1 year in manufacturing or a related field, with willingness to work shifts including night shifts.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Material Science, Science & Technology or related technical field.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment; candidates with no experience but relevant technical background welcome.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Process Development team in processing, fabrication and characterization of optical microstructures.
• Perform standard process runs using advanced optical processing tools in a cleanroom environment.
• Conduct optical characterization and alignment using automated optical alignment stations and related equipment.
• Carry out automated optical inspection and surface characterization, ensuring data accuracy.
• Coordinate process logistics, including raising work orders, tracking materials, and supporting procurement for development work.
• Ensure safety and compliance with site protocols and report deviations promptly.
