Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of secure IT and network infrastructure at One North.

The role involves network connectivity, infrastructure security, access management, system administration, and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen security controls. You will work with emerging technologies, drive security best practices, and assist in automation initiatives,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS/Engineering/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Entry level is welcomed.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Docker containers.
• Knowledge of IAM, authentication, or authorization concepts would be advantageous.
• Programming scripting knowledge such as Python would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of cloud, automation, or AI technologies would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive team player who can work independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, administration, and maintenance of secure network and server infrastructure.
• Provide technical support for network connectivity, infrastructure platforms, and related systems.
• Support identity, authentication, authorisation, and access management infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network, system, and security-related issues to ensure availability.
• Assist in implementing cybersecurity controls, security hardening, and best practices.
• Work with stakeholders and technical teams on infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Support automation and emerging technologies, including AIOps and AI-enabled operations where applicable.
• Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvements to operations.
