Job summary

Sun Venture, a global multi-asset investment firm, seeks a Data Platform Manager to own the enterprise risk and analytics platform. You will lead architecture, data models, and end-to-end delivery, collaborating with the Head of Performance & Risk, investment users, custodians, and the platform vendor.

You will design and operate automated data pipelines (ETL/ELT, SFTP), ensure data quality, and support risk reporting and ad hoc data needs with clear business language.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
• 6–10 years in technology or data engineering in financial services.
• Experience implementing enterprise risk or portfolio analytics platforms.
• Hands-on with relational data models and data warehouses.
• Experience building automated data pipelines (ETL/ELT, SFTP).
• Familiarity with investment data concepts and risk platforms such as Aladdin or BarraOne.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and design of the data platform for risk and analytics.
• Design, build, operate and improve data pipelines from internal systems and vendors.
• Lead technical delivery of risk platform implementation and go-live.
• Oversee nightly production, monitoring and vendor support.
• Interface with investors and vendor to translate tech updates into business terms.
