Job summary

Good co India in Singapore is seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to define and govern the strategy for scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will lead modernization initiatives, architect compute, storage, networking, and identity management, and drive IaC and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 10–18 years in enterprise infrastructure engineering or architecture roles.
• Experience designing large-scale enterprise infrastructure across data centers, hybrid and multi-cloud.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Windows Server, Linux and storage/networking technologies.
• Hands-on cloud migration and hybrid cloud architecture experience across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible and IaC practices.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust, security architecture, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ability to develop standards, roadmaps, governance models and best practices.

Role & responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise infrastructure architecture strategy aligned with business and digital transformation objectives.
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available infrastructure solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead enterprise-wide infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, data center transformation, and virtualization initiatives.
• Architect compute, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and identity management solutions.
• Develop high-level and low-level architecture designs (HLD/LLD), technology roadmaps, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative infrastructure solutions to improve performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, cloud, security, application, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated technology solutions.
• Establish infrastructure security architecture, compliance controls, Zero Trust principles, and governance best practices.
• Lead cloud migration, infrastructure consolidation, and platform modernization projects.
• Drive automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and DevOps methodologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, design reviews, and mentorship to engineering and infrastructure teams.
• Manage infrastructure capacity planning, performance optimization, business continuity, disaster recovery, and service availability.
• Engage with business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership to define technology strategy and infrastructure investment plans.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, ITIL processes, regulatory requirements, and security policies.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10 to 18 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, solution architecture, or infrastructure architecture roles.
• Proven expertise in designing large-scale enterprise infrastructure across data centers, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Windows Server, Linux, storage, virtualization, networking, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including cloud migration and hybrid cloud architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, automation tools (Terraform, Ansible), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security architecture, Zero Trust, identity management, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Experience developing enterprise architecture standards, technology roadmaps, governance models, and infrastructure best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, vendor management, and strategic planning skills.
• TOGAF certification is highly preferred; AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, VMware VCP/VCAP, RHCE, CKA, CISSP, CCIE, PMP, or ITIL certifications are an added advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline; a master's degree is preferred for enterprise architecture and leadership roles.
