Job summary

THE HACENS TALENT PTE. LTD. seeks an IT Infrastructure Specialist to design and deploy robust networks, storage, and compute solutions for clients in Singapore.

You will collaborate with clients to capture requirements and create architecture diagrams, then deploy hardware and software to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Perform system maintenance, updates, performance monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot secure network infrastructures.
• Implement security measures, conduct regular security audits and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support, collaborate with client IT teams, and conduct training/documentation.
• Oversee infrastructure projects end-to-end, coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors, and report progress.

Responsibilities

• System Design and Architecture:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand business and technical requirements.

  • Develop comprehensive network, storage, and compute solutions.

  • Create detailed design documents and architecture diagrams.

• Implementation and Deployment:

  • Deploy and configure hardware, software, servers, storage, and networking equipment according to specifications, timeline, and budget.

• System Administration and Maintenance:

  • Perform system maintenance, updates, performance monitoring, issue troubleshooting, backups, and disaster recovery plans.

• Network Management:

  • Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot secure network infrastructures (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points).

• Security Management:

  • Implement security measures, conduct regular security audits/vulnerability assessments, and maintain regulatory compliance.

• Client Support and Collaboration:

  • Provide technical troubleshooting support, collaborate with client IT teams, and conduct training/documentation.

• Project Management:

  • Oversee infrastructure projects end-to-end, coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors, and report progress to stakeholders.

• Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Stay current on industry trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (a plus, but not strictly required).

• Professional Certifications:

  • Cisco: CCNA or CCNP

  • Microsoft: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert

  • CompTIA: Network+ and Security+

  • VMware: VCP

  • AWS: AWS Certified Solutions Architect

  • Security: CISSP

• Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Network Administration (routers, switches, firewalls)

  • Server Management (Windows and Linux)

  • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)

  • Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Storage Solutions (SAN, NAS)

  • Security Practices (VPNs, IDS/IPS, security protocols)

  • Scripting & Automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

• Soft Skills:

• Professional Experience:

  • 3–5 years in IT infrastructure roles (preferably within a system integrator setting).
