Job summary

NCS is seeking a Microsoft Exchange Server Hands-on Support Engineer to manage enterprise-scale messaging infrastructure across multi-site data centres in Singapore. You will automate operations, develop scripts in Shell, Bash, and Python, and uphold data integrity, performance, and security for Exchange and AD environments.

You will contribute to capacity planning, incident management, and platform upgrades while collaborating with engineering and application teams to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in a similar role managing multi-site data centres
• Strong scripting in Shell, Bash, and Python
• Proven track record in infrastructure automation and software development for ops
• Excellent knowledge of Enterprise Windows Exchange and Active Directory
• Experience with ITIL processes including Change, Incident, Problem, Configuration
• Excellent communication to convey technical concepts to varied audiences
• Experience with Design Thinking and Agile methods like Scrum/Kanban
• MCSA or MCSE certification is preferred
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Manage Enterprise Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory environments for data centres
• Implement and maintain Account and Access Management via GPO policies
• Perform backup management, patching, and inventory processes
• Plan capacity and review performance and logs
• Build automation to manage infrastructure and applications
• Develop scripts in Shell, Bash, and Python
• Coordinate upgrades, migrations, and platform maintenance
• Document configurations, changes, and diagrams for supported systems
