Job summary

Quess Singapore is seeking an Enterprise Data & Information Architect to define the data architecture strategy across markets. You will shape target-state designs and establish standards enabling trusted, secure, scalable data foundations for business transformation, analytics, and AI adoption.

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to modernise ecosystems, uplift maturity, and lead architecture reviews, mentoring teams, and delivering reusable patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience shaping target-state architecture and roadmaps.
• Ability to translate business and regulatory needs into architecture.
• Experience in architecture reviews and mentoring teams.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, DAMA-DMBOK, or DCAM is advantageous.

Shape the future of enterprise data architecture across the region.

We are seeking an Enterprise Data & Information Architect to define and drive the enterprise data architecture strategy across multiple markets. This is a senior architecture leadership role where you will shape target-state architecture, establish enterprise-wide standards, and enable trusted, secure, and scalable data foundations for business transformation, analytics, and AI adoption.

Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will drive architecture decisions, modernise data ecosystems, and uplift data architecture maturity across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Architecture: Define enterprise data architecture strategy, target-state designs, information models, standards, and roadmaps.
• Data Platforms & Integration: Guide architecture across data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, data pipelines, APIs, streaming, and event-driven integration.
• Data Governance: Embed data quality, metadata, lineage, security, privacy, access controls, and regulatory requirements into architecture and solution designs.
• Architecture Assurance: Review major technology initiatives, identify architectural risks and technical debt, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Stakeholder Leadership: Partner with business, data, engineering, security, risk, and compliance teams to drive architecture alignment and implementation.
• Capability Building: Mentor architects and engineering teams, develop reusable architecture patterns, and strengthen enterprise data architecture practices.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in enterprise data architecture, information architecture, or enterprise data management within complex organisations.
• Proven track record in defining target-state architecture, data models, architecture standards, and transformation roadmaps.
• Solid understanding of modern data platforms, data integration, data governance, and enterprise information management.
• Experience translating business, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements into practical architecture solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive alignment across business and technology teams.
• Experience leading architecture reviews, resolving complex data challenges, and mentoring technical teams.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, DAMA-DMBOK, or DCAM is advantageous.
• Financial services or insurance experience is a plus.
