The Enterprise Application Architect is responsible for designing and governing ESR Group's cross-platform application architecture, with a primary focus on data integration, systems interoperability, and cross-system design impact analysis. Working within ESR's agreed enterprise architecture direction, this role ensures that technology solutions are well-integrated, technically sound, and aligned to the Group's transformation objectives.
Given ESR's complex real estate and investment management operating environment, the Enterprise Application Architect is expected to possess strong domain expertise in the applications and technology ecosystems commonly used across real estate investment, asset management, property management, development projects, leasing, facilities management, finance, procurement, and corporate functions. The role requires the ability to understand how technology supports end-to-end business processes across these domains and to provide architecture guidance that aligns with industry best practices.
This role provides hands-on technical leadership across application integration, data flows, and platform connectivity — working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology partners to ensure that systems connect effectively and that design changes are assessed for cross-platform impact.
The Enterprise Application Architect acts as a trusted technical partner to project delivery teams, and business functions, helping maintain coherence and integrity across ESR's evolving technology landscape.
This role will be based in Singapore and will require regional engagement across ESR Group's operating markets as required.
Work closely with project managers, application teams, data teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into integration and technical designs.
Communicate architecture decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Support regional and group teams with cross-platform technical guidance and architecture input.
Demonstrated ability to understand and map end-to-end business processes across real estate investment, asset management, property operations, development, finance, procurement, HR, legal, and corporate functions.
Deep knowledge of the data entities, workflows, reporting requirements, and integration touchpoints that exist across enterprise applications within the real estate and investment management industry.
Ability to identify industry-specific process inefficiencies, application gaps, and integration opportunities, and recommend architectural improvements that drive business value.
Strong appreciation of regulatory, governance, and reporting requirements applicable to real estate and investment management organizations.
Experience working with industry-leading platforms such as Yardi, MRI, SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Anaplan, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics, DocuSign, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions, Business Intelligence platforms, and Data & AI platforms would be highly advantageous.
Ability to translate industry-specific business processes into scalable application architectures and integration designs.
