Job summary

MY WAY ACADEMY PTE. LTD. is seeking tutors to teach Mathematics, Science and English across Primary to A-Level/IB/IELTS at Bishan and King Albert Park. You will deliver engaging lessons, prepare materials, and support student learning.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in English, Science, Education or a related field, excellent English, strong classroom management, and the ability to work well independently or in a team. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lessons with teaching aids, resources, and marking of worksheets.
• Deliver lessons in a dynamic, engaging, and effective manner.
• Assist in planning and development of lesson materials and resources.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
• Provide timely formative and summative feedback to support student progress.
• Assess and monitor student development and report as necessary.
• Conduct trial classes when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare thoroughly for lessons, including the use of appropriate teaching aids, learning resources, and marking of student worksheets
• Deliver lessons in a dynamic, engaging, and effective manner
• Assist in the planning, creation, and development of lesson materials and academic resources
• Build and maintain positive relationships with both students and parents
• Provide timely formative and summative feedback to support students in achieving their full potential
• Assess and monitor students' development, behaviour, academic performance, and overall progress, and report when necessary
• Conduct trial classes as required

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Science, Education, or a related field
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Passionate about student development and dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Attractive hourly remuneration of $40-$100, based on subject specialisation and class size
