Job summary

STEMP Solutions Private Limited in Woodlands, Singapore is seeking Engineers / Associate Engineers or Senior Engineering Technicians to support semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing engineering at a customer site. This role involves hands-on work in a cleanroom, collaborating with engineering teams and documenting processes.

Permanent or contract but Full-time employment, with daily onsite presence at the customer site in Woodlands, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years in semiconductor equipment or related industrial equipment.
• Experience with CAD and engineering documentation is preferred.
• GD&T and machine parts knowledge desirable.
• Clean room environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment and assembly processes and capture measurements, notes, photos, and videos using existing 3D models and drawings.
• Create or update step-by-step work instructions, procedures and checklists with photos, illustrations and videos.
• Maintain BOMs, equipment records and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure documentation accurately represents equipment and processes.
• Process design and manufacturing tickets, packing lists, supplier queries and design updates for NCs.
• Adhere to customer requirements for cleanroom, EHS, quality and document control.
• Support engineering and continuous improvement activities related to equipment assembly, testing and documentation.

Job Summary

STEMP Solutions is looking for Engineers / Associate Engineers or Senior Engineering Technicians to support semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing engineering function at a customer site in Woodlands, Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe equipment and assembly processes and capture measurements, engineering notes, photographs and videos utilizing existing 3D models and drawings.
• Create or update step-by-step work instructions, procedures and checklists using photographs, illustrations and videos.
• Maintain relevant BOMs, equipment records and engineering documentation.
• Work with engineers and technicians to ensure documentation accurately represents the equipment and assembly process.
• Design and Manufacturing Engineering tickets processing, Packing list creations, handling supplier queries/redlines and design updates for NCs
• Follow customer requirements for cleanroom, EHS, quality and document control.
• Support engineering and continuous improvement activities related to equipment assembly, testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline. Experienced technicians with equivalent practical experience preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment or related industrial equipment, mechanical assembly, installation, maintenance or testing.
• CAD & Engineering Documentation: PTC Creo and Siemens Teamcenter experience is advantageous. Candidates with other modelling and drafting software experience are welcome to apply. Training provided for candidates with excellent mechanical assembly knowledge.
• Technical Documentation: Experience developing work instructions, SOPs, checklists or other visual technical documentation. GD&T and understanding machine parts fabrication is desirable but training is provided.
• Equipment Knowledge: Experience with semiconductor capital equipment, precision automation, robotics, vacuum systems, motion control or other high-technology equipment is an advantage.
• Working Environment: Comfortable working hands-on in a semiconductor clean room and following strict EHS, quality and customer procedures.
• Personal Skills: Strong attention to detail, observation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers and technicians.

Work Arrangement

• Permanent or Contract but Full-time employment.
• Daily onsite presence at the customer site in Woodlands, Singapore is a MUST.
• Regular work inside a semiconductor equipment assembly/testing environment.
• Candidates must be comfortable wearing clean room garments and following customer clean room, EHS and site procedures.
