Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking an E&I Technician to perform calibration and maintenance of plant equipment, and support qualification activities for new projects. The role involves executing work orders in MAXIMO and coordinating with contractors to ensure compliance with GMP and site safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in pharma/food/chemical sectors, holds ITC/NITEC/Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation, and is able to work 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Instrumentation knowledge; Six Sigma/Lean is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of pharma/food/petrochemical/chemical/nutritional experience or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and maintain plant equipment and instrumentation per GMP and safety procedures.
• Support equipment qualification activities (IQ, walkdowns, punchlists) on new projects.
• Execute work orders and document tasks in MAXIMO system.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and service providers for maintenance works.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and related activities.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by Engineer or Manager.

Job Scope:

• Responsible for equipment and instrumentation calibration and maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant and other manufacturing and warehouse equipment in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures.
• Responsible for support the equipment qualification such as walkdown, punchlist, commissioning, IQ on any new project.
• Responsible for execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.
• Manage and lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance works.
• Take part in continuous improvement efforts/projects or JDI.
• Carry out other work or task as directed by Engineer or Manager.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of electrical and Instrumentation. Knowledge in Six Sigma and Lean concept will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Pharmaceutical/Food/Petrochemical/Chemical/Nutritional or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• ITC/NITEC/Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation or related discipline.
• Able to support 12 hours shift work
