The Garcha Group in Singapore is seeking a proactive Hotel Maintenance/Technician to join our boutique hospitality team. You will be hands-on with air conditioning, plumbing, electrical systems, and other M&E responsibilities, ensuring facilities run smoothly and look pristine for guests.

With 1–2 years in hospitality maintenance and a Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent, you will collaborate with contractors, monitor costs, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry.

Aufgaben

• Review all facilities with an aesthetic eye for detail.
• Be well-organized and hands-on to troubleshoot and fix issues related to air conditioning (Daikin VRV), plumbing, humidity, all M&E issues, service provider management.
• Demonstrate a "can-do" attitude, resourcefulness, and exceptional efficiency.
• Ensure all accommodations and facilities are well-maintained and free from operational issues.
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot, plan, and coordinate all installations, repairs and refurbishments.
• Take a hands-on approach to maintaining buildings, equipment, and supplies in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Inspect building structures to identify and implement necessary repairs.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor utility consumption and implement measures to minimize operating costs.
• Supervise facilities staff, maintenance personnel, and external contractors.
• Oversee activities such as waste disposal, building security, and general facilities management.
• Manage insurance plans and service contracts.
• Maintain accurate financial and non-financial records.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate a "can-do" attitude, resourcefulness, and exceptional efficiency.
• Ensure all accommodations and facilities are well-maintained and free from operational issues.
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot, plan, and coordinate all installations, repairs (telecommunications, heating, electrical systems, etc.), and refurbishments.
• Take a hands-on approach to maintaining buildings, equipment, and supplies in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Inspect building structures to identify and implement necessary repairs.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and service providers.
• Monitor utility consumption and implement measures to minimize operating costs.
• Supervise facilities staff, maintenance personnel, and external contractors.
• Oversee activities such as waste disposal, building security, and general facilities management.
• Manage insurance plans and service contracts.
• Maintain accurate financial and non-financial records.
• Maintain and update all relevant maintenance and facilities management trackers.
• Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Other Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification in any field.
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues is highly preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry.
• Required skills: Hotel Maintenance/Technician Experience, Diligent, Trustworthy, Articulate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
