Job summary

SEAGATE SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to perform VTS electrical testing of media and to ensure testers operate within specified limits. You will crunch data, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues to keep test schedules on track.

The role requires a Diploma in engineering, strong communication, and the ability to work in a clean room environment with 12-hour night shifts from 7.30pm to 7.45am.

About Our Group:

The RPE Lab performs electrical testing of the media. This testing is critical for sputter machine control, qualification of sputter machine performance after a PM or conversion, and new product magnetic design verification and implementation.

About the Role – You will:

• Perform VTS electrical testing of the media.
• Ensure the testers and all control parameters are within acceptable limits.
• Data crunching and analysis of test results.
• Troubleshooting of test related problems and recovery of tester issues.
• Collaborate and communicate with engineers and team members to resolve issues
• Ensure timeliness of the test results

About You

• Possess a Diploma in any Engineering discipline.
