Job summary

SEAGATE SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an engineer to support the sputter production line, ensuring process flow, specifications, and documentation are maintained.

The role involves monitoring process variables, diagnosing issues, and performing process buy-off after maintenance to sustain uptime and quality. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, with sputter knowledge as an added advantage, and be willing to work a 12-hour night shift in a clean room

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Sputter knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to the production line ensuring process flow, specifications, procedures, and documentation.
• Monitor process variables and adjust as required.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot routine or minor problems quickly and effectively.
• Perform process buy-off after equipment preventive maintenance or breakdowns.
• Document routine manufacturing processes and report data for shift handover.

About Group:

We are a dynamic process team to provide sputter engineering support to hard disk media production with the objective of ensuring compliance and conformance to process procedures.

About the Role:

• Provide engineering support to production line by ensuring process flow, specification, procedure and documentation
• Monitor any variables within the process and make the adjustments when required
• Quick and effective diagnosis and troubleshooting of routine or minor problems
• Perform process buy-off after equipment preventive maintenance or breaks down
• Document routine manufacturing processes and report data for shift duty pass-down
• Conduct or assist the process engineer in carrying out experiments with the objectives of process improvement
• Continuous improvement on OEE
• Training and certification for MS and new EA personnel
• Assist in Audit preparation

• Willing to work on 12hr (7.30pm to 7.45am) nightshift pattern
