Job summary

Grab is seeking an Software Engineering Manager II for the Transaction Platform in Singapore. You will lead a 10+ engineer team, balancing hands-on technical leadership with people management to deliver reliable, scalable transaction services for merchants.

You will influence product roadmaps, collaborate with product and data teams, and grow the technical direction of the platform. You will mentor engineers, conduct reviews, and participate in hiring to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience in a distributed systems environment.
At least 2+ years as a software engineering manager with hands-on leadership.
Experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

Design and implement highly reliable, scalable services for Grab's Transaction Platform.
Partner with cross-functional teams to shape product roadmaps and metrics.
Set the engineering strategy within the team and mentor engineers at all levels.
Participate in code and design reviews to uphold high standards.
Contribute to interview loops to hire top engineers.
