Main Purpose of Job

The Engineering Manager provides technical leadership to deliver high priority initiatives through translating business requirements into robust solutions, managing technical quality, and overseeing vendor and development execution.

Key Responsibilities of the Job
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to ensure delivery of highquality, scalable solutions.
  • Oversee and manage the execution of engineering work performed by an outsourced development team.
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring clear prioritisation, timely execution, and resolution of blockers.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and Business stakeholders to align on priorities, requirements, and success metrics.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including design, document and code reviews, testing, documentation and operational excellence.
  • Plan team capacity, manage resource allocation, and forecast future headcount needs.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and governance requirements.
  • Foster a healthy, collaborative, and high-performance engineering culture focused on continuous improvement and execution velocity.

  • Deep understanding of engineering principles and technology architecture, with practical experience across multiple technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage outsourced and internal engineering teams, including planning, execution, and quality assurance.
